An insurance deductible is the amount your dental insurance requires you to pay before they begin to cover the costs of care. For instance, if you have a $500 insurance deductible you will have to pay for $500 worth of dental treatment before your insurance provider will cover treatments.

A yearly maximum benefit is the maximum amount of treatment costs your insurance will cover. For instance, if your yearly maximum benefit is $1,000, your insurance provider will cover up to $1,000 of treatments during a benefit period.

The answer to this question will vary depending on each insurance provider and your selected dental insurance plan. Prior to your appointment, our staff would be happy to verify your dental benefits. We can also help with the insurance filing process during your appointment.

Each patient has specific dental treatment needs depending upon their dental hygiene, oral health, and age. We recommend bi-annual routine dental examinations and teeth cleanings for most patients; however, others may need to be seen more often.

We recommend scheduling a dental appointment once your child’s first tooth appears (typically around six months, or at the very latest by the age of one).

We recommend dental check-ups every six months and will work with you to create a dental treatment schedule. Before leaving your appointment, we can schedule your next appointment and provide you with an appointment card. You may also receive a phone call, email or text message when your next appointment is close.
